The Board

Den Norske Klub is managed by a voluntary Committee of Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for all aspects of the Klub’s operations, such as planning and organising events, publishing the newsletter Northern Lights, maintaining the DNK website, Klub finances, liaising with sponsors, advertisers and other external relations, as well as looking after members’ interests. All board members are elected for a period of three years, with the option to renew twice for up to nine years.

Christian

Christian Armand

Christian has over 20 years of experience across finance, energy transition, and technology, having lived and worked in Norway and the UK. A former private banking executive at SEB and Nordea, he is now the founder of Jagca Capital and a co-founder of Wastefront, a UK-based sustainable fuels venture backed by IAG and Vitol. He also co-founded the RegTech firm docStribute, and has held board and advisory roles in several startups and growth companies. Christian holds a BBA (Hons) from the University of Sunderland and an MSc in Financial Services Management from the University of Surrey. A long-standing board member of Den Norske Klub and a member of the In & Out Club since 2012, he enjoys training, networking, travel, and spending time with his family in London outside of his ventures.

Constanse Mjeldheim Bowes-Lyon

Constanse Mjeldheim Bowes-Lyon

Constanse has spent more than ten years working and studying in the US, UK, Norway and Asia. She is currently working as a senior consultant for a leading energy and commodities search firm. She holds an MA in International Relations from King’s College London and a BA from University of Bergen / American University. Outside of work, Constanse enjoys travelling, hiking, architecture, free diving, learning new languages and sailing.

Damian

Damian Sebastian Serwin

Damian has a background in finance, having spent the last few years working in investment banking, covering shipping and maritime services, business and industrial services, as well as the broader energy sector across the UK and the Nordics. He now works for a Nordic-based shipping company, WALLENIUS SOL. His previous experiences include leading teams in transportation and logistics at Amazon, contributing to the asset-backed securities and treasury management departments at Volkswagen Financial Services, and managing food retail stores as a store manager. He holds an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School and a BSc in Economics and Management from Aston Business School. Outside of work, Damian’s interests include travelling, cycling, running, exploring art exhibitions, and reading.

Maria Ellord-Nord

Maria Ellord-Nord

While Maria was doing her degree in Software Engineering at the university of Southampton, she spent her summers in Oslo studying Norwegian at the University of Oslo. Although she is living in the UK, it is very important for her to stay connected to Norway: she was a member of the Nordic Society at the university and then joined DNK after graduation. Now Maria does technology for an asset management company in London. She enjoys music, reading and travelling. 

Eirik Rong

Eirik Rong

Eirik is a Norwegian but has also lived in the US in the late 90’s, and in England since 2022. He works as a Lawyer in Statkraft UK Ltd in London. He holds a master’s in law from the University in Bergen and has a license to practice law before the Norwegian Courts. His work has focused on M&A the last 15 years, in e.g. Statkraft and Law Firm BAHR in Oslo. The last six years he has particularly focused on UK and Irish M&A & JVs within all technologies Statkraft operate within, and M&A in e.g. Norway, Portugal, and India. In addition, Eirik has also been active in Statkraft Ventures where he also was a board member for over four years. Eirik is a former second lieutenant in the Norwegian armed forces. He is currently Vice President in the Norwegian British Chamber of Commerce(NBCC). Eirik is generally a very active person who enjoys skiing, running, biking, swimming, travelling, and reading.

Henriette Moe Schjelderup

Henriette Moe Schjelderup

Henriette has lived in London since 2021 having pursued a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Westminster. She is currently studying Logistics online at the University of Molde. Her work with ANSA over several years has seen her support Norwegian students in the UK and abroad, and her involvement with the sjømannskirken allows her to maintain close links with Norway. In her free time Henriette enjoys travel, classical music, and swimming.

Patrik Zetterlund

Patrik moved from Norway to the UK in 2019 to pursue advanced studies in watchmaking. He now works as a complications watchmaker and technical trainer with one of Switzerland’s most prestigious horological houses. Of both Norwegian and Swedish heritage, he has a strong personal interest in Scandinavian relations and cultural ties. Patrik has long been active in voluntary organisations at a grassroots level and maintains a keen interest in civic life and current affairs. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, international friendships, and sports—particularly running and cycling.

Camilla Tverberg Holsve Johansen

Camilla has spent the last seven years working with governments around the world in the education sector, focusing on improving education globally. She holds an undergraduate degree in Ancient History from the University of Manchester and a postgraduate degree from the University of Law. Camilla has lived in the UK for over 14 years. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, skiing, spending time with friends, attending social events, and reading.
